Postpartum support

For older babies
If you want continue support (baby over 6 months) following your replacement service or that you had not taken replacement and it is now that you need support, it is possible to make a service request.
You will make a good decision by asking that a Professional come take care of your baby while you take time to sleep, take a shower et talk about what we're going through.
You can ask to be accompanied by a meeting outside or to go out alone, leaving the baby with his companion.

Postpartum support during the day
Post-partum doula services
For the day services,, a postnatal doula will come for a block of 3 hours or 6 hours, to give you a chance to to recover better during your postpartum. You have many months to use the banked hours after purchase. You can have a fixed schedule e.g. Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 12pm or ask your doula for her availability in the coming weeks and go with her schedule and yours.
Once at home, your postnatal doula will take care of you and your children and if everyone is resting she will be able to do light housework and prepare a meal.
During the service, you will be able to, among other things:
- sleep
- eat a hot meal
- take a good bath
- leave the house alone
- have a dedicated resource at your side to answer your questions
- get advice on breastfeeding and sleep for your child
- to be accompanied during outside appointments
- go out with friends or partners
- talk to an adult
The needs of the family often change within a few months of the baby's life. You need your mornings to get back into the routine with older children or to start working again gradually. Instead of sending your baby to daycare, keep it near you and enjoy personalized service, adapted to your reality, with a trusted person.
During the service, you will be able to, among other things:
- get out and leave the child safe
- get help with the introduction to solids
- find solutions for the infant's sleep

Our rates in the form of a bank of hours (price before taxes):
- 3 hours: $ 120
- 9 hours: $ 350
- 18 hours: $ 690
- 36 hours: $ 1315
- 60 hours and more: $ 35 / hr

Post-partum doula services
Your postpartum doula will be happy to come and rock your baby from 22pm so they can sleep as soundly as possible. You’ll have a peaceful sleep knowing that a professional trained to care for very young babies is taking care of yours. When the whole family is rested, the days are always more enjoyable!
If you’re breastfeeding your baby, the doula will bring your baby to you when they’re ready to nurse, and as soon as the feeding is over, she’ll come and pick up the baby so everyone can go back to sleep.If you are not breastfeeding, she will take care of feeding your child during the night.
The postnatal doula leaves at 6:30 am the next morning leaving you a note summarizing how the night went if you are still sleeping.
If you take a bank of nights, you will always be paired with the same doula,so that a beautiful and trusting relationship is established for you and your baby.
If you want a part-time or full-time schedule (3 to 5 nights / week), you may be paired with 2 companions.
It is recommended to have a small extra bed in the baby's room or otherwise to make a space for him to rest since during the night, our only occupation is to watch the sleeping baby and take care of him when he is. wakes up. If the baby is sleeping, the caregiver will close her eyes and pay attention.
