Mode of action

Unlike lumbar belts which immobilize the spine and provide passive support, the Physiomat belt leads to active repositioning by giving a correct lowering to the pelvis. Several scientific studies have shown that there is thus automatic straightening, self-growth and refocusing. The camber decreases, the center of gravity shifts and stability increases. This strengthens the deep muscles of the back, abdominals and perineum. The viscera no longer dip forward, breathing and circulation are improved as well as sports performance.

Instructions for use and installation of the belt

The belt is placed horizontally on the pelvis, at the level of the sacroiliac joints behind and just above the coxo-femoral joint and the pubic symphysis. It is worn over clothing and does not require undressing to put it on and take it off.

The belt is mainly worn standing up as needed. It can be easily removed during prolonged sitting, especially for pregnant women.

Duration of use

The belt can be worn until the end of pregnancy, for at least 21 days after delivery and daily without limitation for other indications.

Benefits

No risk of addiction: wearing the belt works the back muscles and strengthens the lower part of the abdominals.

No circulatory risk: the belt does not compress the viscera and allows mobility. Unobtrusive and discreet, it can be put on and taken off without undressing.

Pelvic floor protection: the belt supports the organs and protects the perineum.
